Louis Vuitton king of the handbag and purse, can now boast another huge name in its roster of celebrity associates: Kanye West. Is my Kate Spade wallet real?

I bought a Kate Spade wallet on ebay but I read on a website that the style of wallet I have doesn't have a pocket on the back, but only showed pictures of a zippered pocket. Mine has a slot where you could put receipts, etc., but there isn't a zipper, and that's all the information they had. If you own an authentic Kate Spade long, black, envelope style wallet that holds a checkbook and has an id slot and cc slots, can you let me know? It has the appropriate label and the YKK zipper. The seller said it was authentic. I can't remember the name of the style. Thank you!

What should name brand purses cost at a garage sale?

I just recently had a garage sale and sold quite a few nice purses, some new with tags. I had $5 on the GAP ones with tags and $2 on the ones without tags. I also had a Kate Hutson, Gucci and one Louis Vuitton. These were w/o tags but in excellent condition so I put $25 on them. People had a fit saying "this is suppoesed to be a yard sale!" Am I too cheap? Those bags weren't cheap though.
the Gucci, LV and I meant Kate Spade are not authentic. But they sure look like it logo and all, I paid I know I didn't pay less than $75 for each of them.

No I think those were really good prices especially for the louis vuitton!!! Man people are cheap

If you go to ebay.com and then go to "community" (top right of screen), and then "workshops/discussion forums" there is a Purse/Hand bag forum. There are people who visit the forum that are really into certain designers and seem more than happy to help prevent someone buy a fake. If you post the auction item number and ask people there to give their opinions on authenticity, someone very likely will answer it.
I just bought a pewter coloured kate spade Taryn sidney wallet, that I got advice from on the forum. I got it yesterday and I believe it is authentic. Good luck and one piece of advice would be to make sure the seller indicates if they have a return policy. And also it is illegal for them to sell fakes and list them as authentic, so if you get something you believe is fake you can try to get your money back and as well that forum listed above is helpful in giving advice in that regard. Also, one thing I have found helpful to remember is to not bid until really considering item just because it looks good and it is ending soon. Something else will always come along if you are not totally sure.
