How to clean a vera bradley wallet?

I own a vera bradley wallet like this one:

it has become dirty and isn't as white as it is in that picture. i want to make it look clean like the one in the picture, but i don't know how.

my wallet came with a card that instructed to spot clean only and not to wash in a washing machine. i used a tide pen on it...but it didn't really help.

what else can i do to make my wallet look cleaner??

I sell Vera Bradley and you can NOT launder the wallets!

There is cardboard inside these wallets that gives them the stiffness they need. If you wash this wallet, you will ruin it.

Please spot clean as it says. The Tide Pen is a good idea.

You could try a DROP of ERA laundry detergent in some cold water.

Dampen a clean white towel, wring it out well and gently scrub the dirty spot.

Using the same technique as above, rinse with clear cold water. Let air dry.
