Bean bags have been around for as long as I can remember, they are one of those things that will probably always be around because they serve so many different purposes.
A bean bag can be filled many different things, some are filled with dried beans, and others are filled with a Styrofoam substance. These bean bags can be found in many different shapes, sizes, colors and fabrics. They are also very multifunctional; they can be used for a variety of things from using it as a chair and playing games with one.
Whether you are an avid video game player or just like to watch movies then I am sure you have at one point used a bean bag chair. The lounge chair is the main focus of beanbags in today's market, and it has always been a favorite among children. Bean bags are available in just about any color you can imagine. If your child has a favorite cartoon character or your husband has a favorite football team then chances are you can find a beanbag chair to math their likings.
Hacky Sack is a popular game that has been played for ages using a circular beanbag. The most popular way to play this game is to kick the bean bag back and forth between you and a few other people and try to not let it hit the ground.
Many children love bean bags, not only for the comfort of the chairs but because many games use beanbags as the main focus of it. Bean bags are very safe for children to play with as well because they are soft not harmful. There are many different games available today; some use the beanbags as footballs and try to throw them through a hole on a games board. Then other games are like the classic game of tic-tac-toe, where you use the bags to turn over the corresponding letter of x or o.
Most of the time bean bags are not harmful, but in today's police force they use bean bags in a non traditional way. They have specially equipped guns that can only shoot beanbags. They use these as a less deadly way to keep crowd control down and riots to a minimal. Another great way to use small circular bean bags is to juggle them. If I was going to learn how to juggle I would want something not harmful such as a beanbag.
After a while your bean bag chair will begin to not be as comfy as it once was. But no worries, you can keep that broken in, comfy chair and simply buy the filling and refill it yourself and keep enjoying your bean bag chair. This will happen because the Styrofoam will begin to break down and become compressed, and the beans will begin to break apart.
When I think of one thing that has with stood the hands of time I think of the bean bag. Bean bags are so multifunctional, the serve many different purposes from being a chair to lounge in while watching a movie or playing a video game to being a foot rest to prop your feet up on after a long hard day of work. Bean bags are even shot out of guns but yet are versatile enough to let children play numerous different games with them.
