Steps:
1.Create your character. The INT and LUK have to be 4 or 5 respectively, and STR and DEX don't matter.
2.Complete the basic training and then all the quests, especially "Pio's Recycled Goods."
3.Maintain your DEX at 5 more than your level and add any other available points to STR. Put skill points in shell throw, but do not max it right away. You won't be able to get the shells that you need in order to use the skill.
4.Go to Amherst and buy a razor for 500 mesos at level 5.
5.Do not travel to Victoria Island at level 10; you're not strong enough. Wait until at least level 15 to go. Don't party with anyone; they are weak and only leech off of you.
6.Buy the best armor and a fence shield at Lith Harbor once you go to Victoria Island. Go to Henesys to buy a leather purse;
it's the best weapon available for now.
For one, make sure you pick up EVERYTHING. Lots of players just ignore monster drops because it fills up their inventories.
This causes all of these drops to clump up together in popular leveling spots, making it easy picking for newbies and anyone
else looking for some quick cash. When you fight monsters, make sure you pick up what they drop at all times, selling the
items at shops when you inventory fills up.
Of course, just picking up drops won't help enough. You need to use the free market as well, selling certain things you buy
cheap maple story mesos. One of the best things to start off with is quest items, because everyone does quests and lots of
people want to buy items instead of killing monsters for them. This is a no-brainer: Sell quest items at the free market, and
you'll be well on your way to meso-millionairedom.
Another easy method is to do quests. Not only does this help to gather quest items to sell later on, but it also gives you
experience points, items, and mesos for each quest completed. If you complete quests, it's like killing two birds with one
stone. Not only that, but if the quest requires you to kill monsters, you'll gain more experience from that, plus the
experience and mesos for completing the quest and selling drops gained from killing monsters. It's that simple.
