Large Shoulder

Insect bites - i have 6 large itchy blotches on my shoulder ?

mosquito bites usually last only 3 days but they have been bothering me for one week now- keep itching .

they could be spider bites which u get while ur sleeping. They just last a bit longer, one on me lasted a month. I recommend some aloe or their is this BANDAID product with aloe that works well, try ur local pharmacy. Check ur bed and wash ur bed sheets as well.

The attachment point for muscles responsible for movement of the hip joint is called the troche nter. When irritated, the fairly large bursa overlaying the trochanter often results in painful bursitis of the hip, medically referred to as trochanteric bursitis. Ice massage is an effective treatment for bursitis. An ice pack has long been part of pain management approaches for many painful aches or injuries like sprains, injuries due to overuse of muscles, and, even bursitis. Acupuncture has been used by the Chinese for years to relieve pain, and can also be used to restore the function of the joint and eliminate joint pains for bursitis sufferers. Osteopathy treatment involves aligning the spine, mobilizing the joints, and correcting the posture to help blood flow freely.

Symptoms will vary from person to person depending on what motion is causing the irritation of the bursae. Stiffness in your joints, with or without pain, is common. There may be pain or heat in the area, and sometimes a pinching pain. The pain might come and go, and it may differ from day to day. If you experience a lot of pain one day, you may feel more stiff the next.

Vitamin B complex (100 mg twice daily)-important to cellular repair, supplemented with vitamin B12 (as prescribed by doctor)-necessary for proper digestion, absorption of foods, and the repair of nerve damage (most effective if taken by injection; otherwise, use lozenge form). Rest the affected area. Resting the affected part of the body will prevent or reduce any further inflammation and will allow the area to heal, as overuse is what caused the injury in the first place. One area where rest is always prescribe is if the hip is affected - a condition known as - Trochanteric. Restricting or preventing excess movement is one of the remedy that will speed up the reduction in swelling.

The next thing in your arsenal is some anti-inflammatory medication. Some prefer aspirin, but you need to be aware of complications associated with the blood thinning properties of this drug. There are some good herbal anti-inflammatories on the market which are specifically targeted for bursitis pain. Ginger is known to inhibit inflammation and reduce pain. It also has antioxidant properties. Take as a capsule or tincture. It can also be used fresh; eat 1/3 ounce of fresh ginger each day. Other than those options given, lifestyle modification is your best bet for reducing the risk of bursitis. Avoid situations and conditions that could irritate your bursa. Try to lose weight thus easing the pressure on your muscles and joints. Best of all, eat food rich in body-building proteins and minerals to boost your body's natural restorative and regenerative processes.

Celadrin is another very effective treatment for bursitis, and has been clinically studied at major universities and medical centers, with studies published in the Journal of Rheumatology. Celadrin provides the lubrication to cushion your joints and prevent that painful friction that can hinder your lifestyle. In some cases, results were seen in as little as 30 days. In fact, like all other shoulder syndromes, a bursitis can take months or even years to regress naturally. Because we need to use our arms in all daily activities, once the inflammation starts it is very difficult to control or eliminate. The usual answer is the use of drugs as above, but this cannot be a long term solution, though for many people it still is, while putting up with pain.
