I'm only 24 but may I suggest that your daughter starts doing some chores once in awhile and start learning some responsibilty about saving money - then she can buy things that she wants. My college roommate had so many designer purses, she bought a file cabinet for our dorm room so she could lock them up in our room b/c she was scared people were going to steal them... designer purses and shoes are the most ridiculous obsession girls/women have. If you love buying stuff for her, trying getting something practical at TJ Maxx or Target or Old Navy. She's only 11!! Even 40-yr olds shouldnt have 9 Coach accessories.
